So we get many customers in our shop that want 'prom hair'. Something that won't fall out, looks pretty and adds volume or length. Here we're providing a step to step blog post on how to get perfect prom hair with a hair piece! Here we are using a 'Nikki' hairpiece, that can be purchased here.
This is Eleanor without any of her hair accessories in ( this is a rare occurrence). Most of us look at a hairpiece and think ' what on earth can I do with that?', 'how can I make that look real?' This is how:

Step 1:
Firstly, tie up your hair into a bun.
Step 2: As you can see buns can be quite big and a bun like this could be noticeable under a hairpiece, therefore you can grip this down with hair grips. Preferably use hair grips that blend with your hair, for example beige grips with blonde hair and black grips with black hair.
Step 3:
Next you have to grip the hair piece into the top of the bun. Many Hairpieces have different attachments ( drawstring, grips and clips) & we will be going through those in future 'how - to' blogs. This HairPiece is a palm grip. This fixes downwards into the top of the bun and has a sturdy attachment. This can be enhanced by the use of more grips.
Step 4:
Now to make the HairPiece look more real you can brush it with a specialized hairbrush. The hair brush used in this example can be bought here.
Step 5: The finishing touches. After you've made the perfect look with extra volume and length you can add accessories. Here we've added a tiara which would be perfect for prom night but you can add anything from fancy grips and headbands! This is perfect for any occasion, whether it be a ball, Christmas party or if you're very glamorous for everyday use!
